Danga Bay Sdn Bhd is the custodian of a privatization contract awarded by the Johor State Government in early 2000 to develop 1,800 acres of waterfront land along Johar Bahru’s Lido Beach. The development masterplan was officially unveiled by Menteri Besar (Chief Minister) Datuk Abdul Ghani Othman in May 2001.
